Stomach pain home remedies Stomach aches are a fairly common occurrence in people of all ages, backgrounds and with all types of eating habits. Usually, stomach aches are related to eating and digestive disorders. However, please note that if you have had a stomach ache that has persisted for more than a couple of weeks, you would need medical attention, as it could be a sign of something else, which is possibly more dire in nature.
Do not neglect this, or it may cause further more complicated problems.
For a general stomach ache, you should try a digestive which should most probably work a solution for you within a day. As far as natural digestives go, chewing on a piece of dried ginger is the best thing you can do for your stomach ache.
This should be able to soothe digestion troubles at once. If you cannot chew on ginger, take a pinch of ginger powder with a few tablespoons of warm water. This should also help considerably. You can also take a cup of water to which a few crushed leaves of peppermint have been added. This is an excellent remedy for general stomach disorders and it will also cure gas, if you have that problem. For gas, you can also take a pinch each of asafetida and rock salt with a cup of water. This will work wonders.
