In addition, it is usually not a good idea to replace the thyroid supplement prescribed by your doctor with another brand or generic product. Dosage often varies, and different brands often work differently.

Therefore, if you have run out of your medication, you will unfortunately just have to wait till you can get more. In future, you should try to ensure that there is always a spare pack of your medication at hand.
