A mitt is a rough strip not unlike sandpaper (though not as rough) that is used to buff away unwanted hair. It is easy to use and regular use reduces the thickness and growth of unwanted hair. You can also use a pumice stone which functions along the same lines. A pumice stone also helps to exfoliate your skin thus giving it an even blemish free glow. Your facial skin is extremely sensitive so when using either of these products make sure that you use gentle circular motions as any force will cause skin irritation. It is best to use a pumice stone when you go in for your daily shower. Unlike shaving which often leads to ingrown hair, the mitts and pumice stone do not cause ingrowths. If you already have ingrowths, you can treat them by using a pumice stone while bathing. This will slough off the upper layer of your skin, allowing the hair to come through.
You can also use a pair of tweezers to remove unwanted hair. Tweezing is a rather painstaking method of hair removal but it allows you to target actual strands of unwanted hair. In addition to this, tweezing does not result in ingrowths.
