What benefits do omega 3 vitamins have?

Omega-3 is a generic name given to the group of essential fatty acids that are polyunsaturated. These can be grouped in to two sections. The first ones are omega-6 EFAs and the second one is omega-3 EFAs. the first one that is omega-6 helps promote inflammation , tumor growth and blood clotting within the body, the omega -3 acid which includes the eicosapentaenoic acid and the docossahexaenoic acid helps serve a two different but very important functions to the body.

Omega - 3 acids are said to have a positive effect when used to treat a coronary artery disorder, when cholesterol levels are exceptionally high and the occurrence of high triglyceride levels. The consumption of Large doses of fish oil(which normal contains a decent amount of omega-3 oils)are effective in treating depression, bipolar disease, Parkinson's disease, alcoholism, diabetes and arthritis. All fish contain more or less some amount of omega-3 fatty acids, but they are presenting higher levels in fish like mackerel, sardines and herring. In order to get your proper consumption of omega- 3 oils make sure to eat fish at least twice a week. There are also food products like bread, yogurt and baked goods that also can provide as source of omega - 3.you can also eat green leafy vegetables, almonds, walnuts and soy or tofu in order to consume omega -3.
