Menopause Information
Menopause is a phenomenon that can be accompanied with many different symptoms. The basic thing to remember is that it affects different women differently. There are no hard and fast rules about it, and it can manifest itself at different points in time as well as in different ways. Itching of any kind is not usually associated with menopause, but there are several recorded cases which indicate that it may well be a classic symptom. If you are experiencing itching, and are menopausal as well, you can be certain that there is a connection between the two problems.
In order to take care of the situation, you must follow a routine of daily moisturization thrice a day at least. Use an oil rich moisturizer, which will help to improve the general condition of your skin as well. Remember that menopause could also render your skin dry and lifeless - this is a common accompaniment of menopause as well. It is also advisable to drink lots of water in order to help your skin remain well lubricated and moist. You must aim for at least 10 to 15 liters a day so that your skin will not suffer from dryness, which typically leads to itching.
