Herpes Natural Cure
Herpes is one of the most common sexually transmitted infections. Although there is no permanent cure for herpes, a number of remedies do exist that could help alleviate the pain and symptoms. In most cases the first outbreak of the disease is the most severe, with subsequent outbreaks, if any, showing milder symptoms.
Prescription drugs that your doctor would administer can shorten the outbreaks and reduce the severity, or even prevent a recurrence.
It’s important that you keep the affected regions clean and dry, and antibiotic agents or petroleum jelly are best avoided. Calamine lotion and similar drying agents can help to dry sores, but should never be used near any mucous membranes.
Toweling the affected area to dry it after a bath can be painful due to the friction so you could try using a hair dryer instead.
It has also been found that there is an association between stress and herpes, which is why it is important to try and minimize your stress levels. Applying Aloe Vera gel to the sores can also help a lot, and lemon balm extract is also believed to be quite effective. A diet with a lot of fruits and vegetables is advisable because of the high vitamin content and for minerals like zinc and iron
