Dyslexia Health Advice

What exactly is your question? You have not at all mentioned what information on dyslexia you are looking for. Dyslexia is a learning disability, mainly with written language.

Due to certain problems in the way their brains process information, dyslexic people have difficulty reading and writing. The problem is not a visual one, but a processing one, but dyslexics have a tendency to mix up letters and their places in words, as well as mix up sounds. This does not however mean that their intelligence is affected in any way — dyslexia is not an intellectual disability.

There is no real treatment or cure for the disability, but there are several approaches that can be successfully used to help such individuals to function relatively normally in society. These are mostly specialized teaching methods that need to be handled by trained professionals. If you have a dyslexic child, you should ask your doctor about where you can find such professionals in your area. Note that there are also some alternative approaches to treating dyslexics, but most of these treatments are untested and not very reliable. There is usually no harm in these treatments, but it is a good idea to check with your doctor first and also to use them only as complementary approaches, along with some tested treatment.
