I need good medication for my wife's asthma cure

Asthma Guidelines

Medication is not always necessary or advisable for asthma. The best treatment of the disease is to identify substances that cause asthmatic attacks, and eliminate these substances from your environment as far as is possible. Although medication is available and is also effective at providing relief, avoidance is the best way to handle asthma.

Common triggers for asthma include dander from pets, dust, pollent, exertion, certain medications, tobacco smoke, stress, and even certain types of air, such as dry air or conversely moist air. Some of these triggers cannot be avoided, but other can certainly be controlled to a large extent. If you experience frequent asthma attacks — several times a month, for example — and if trigger avoidance does not seem to work, you will need some kind of medication. This however is something that you will need to discuss with your doctor. There are a wide variety of asthma medications available, and each works differently and is suitable for a different patient.

Asthma patients often use bronchodilators, but in addition, your wife may need corticosteroids or glucocorticoids, depending on the frequency of attacks and the severity of these attacks. Your doctor is the only person who will be aware of your wife's medical history and symptoms, and equipped to prescribe any treatment
