Infants Sleep Advice
My 15 month old wakes up about 20 times per night. Is there any way to get him to sleep without waking up so much?

Better Baby Sleeping Tips
The first thing you have to do to get your baby to sleep better is to make him as comfortable as possible. This does not mean that you get him a fancy crib but figure out where he/she likes to sleep the most. Therefore the best places could be your bed, in his cradle, in a crib kept in your room etc. Figuring this out will help relax your baby and thus he will have better sleep during the night.
Try and see if there is any source of irritation that might be causing your baby to wake up so often. These causes of irritation could include a bright light, loud sounds, the presence of pests like mosquitoes or bugs , any if these reasons will not allow him to sleep comfortably and thus make your baby cranky and reluctant to sleep for a long time.
The next factor to keep in mind is to figure out the time when your son gets the most tired. This helps figure out when your baby is likely to get the most amount of sleep. During, these phases of ‘tiredness to sleep’ do not do anything that will excite him. It is a better idea to give the baby a bath, change and feed him at least a half an hour before you plan to put him to sleep. Doing this just before he goes to sleep will only charge him up and make thing harder for you.
