Home Remedy to Treat Stomach Ulcers

Ulcers can be extremely irritating because they cause uncomfortable burning sensations in your stomach all the time. At times, this burning sensation can also occur in your throat due to extreme acidity, which typically accompanies ulcers. In order to curb these annoying symptoms, you can begin with eliminating fried and spicy food from your diet altogether.

Oil and spices only add to ulcers and aggravate the burning sensation. Make it a habit to have a glass of lukewarm milk with a tablespoon of castor oil added to it every night. This will ensure that your stomach is soothed all night while you sleep.

Castor oil is considered to be very beneficial in the treatment and care of ulcers.

You should also increase your intake to foods that fight acidity, since the hydrochloric acid that is being produced in your system needs to be kept in check. This would include foods such as bananas, papayas and apples. All of them will soothe your ulcers. You must also increase your intake of chilled milk to about three to four glasses a day. It is also absolutely essential that you not smoke, as nicotine is well known for adding to ulcers. Avoid alcohol, carbonated and caffeinated drinks, as all of them will aggravate your discomfort.
