Home Remedies for Acne Scars

For mild scars, you can prepare some remedies using a few household ingredients, but these remedies will need to be used very regularly, and they will take a long time and have only a marginal effect. Aloe gel is effective in treating almost any skin problem, and you should therefore apply it daily to your scars. The same goes for honey, into which you can mix some sandalwood powder. You can also mix some baking soda and rose water, and rub this mixture on your scars for a few minutes before washing it off. Rubbing a crushed clove of garlic is also supposed to be helpful in getting rid of scars. In addition, you need to watch your diet to ensure that you get enough vitamin K and vitamin E, both of which are essential for healthy skin.
