Bleeding Gums Home Remedies
Bleeding gums indicates some sort of gum infection - although it seems like a rather minor problem, such infections are quite serious and need quick and proper medical attention. Part of the problem quite certainly has to do with dental hygiene, but simply improving your dental hygiene will not always solve the problem. Therefore brushing your teeth daily, while it will certainly help, may not be enough entirely get rid of the infection.
There are a large number of diseases that affect the gums and other tissue surrounding your teeth, and over time these diseases can cause some very serious damage, resulting in ulceration, loss of teeth, and, in the long term, spread of infection to the rest of the mouth and jaw. It is therefore better to visit a dentist and get your teeth looked at. If necessary, the dentist will prescribe some medication and also clean your teeth.
After this, you will need to be meticulous and regular about brushing your teeth, and in addition, be sure to floss as well. You should also note that it is better to brush twice a day - before going to bed, and after (rather than before) breakfast - this keeps your teeth relatively clean through the night, as well as through the day.
