If you are finding it difficult to cry, this probably means that you are suffering from a tear duct that is blocked. What happens is that the tear duct, located at the corner of our eye and possessing the ability to secrete tears, is blocked. As a result of this the patient is unable to shed tears. Although this may seem like a silly problem being unable to cry can prove to be really difficult for people. If your problem persists despite various attempts to get the tear ducts unblocked, you should consult your doctor about this.
Lie down and apply a handkerchief dipped in warm water on the eyes. Regular application of hot compress will help activate the sluggish tear ducts. You should do this for at least five minutes in the morning and five minutes in the night. If possible you should do this thrice a day and for fifteen minutes at one time. Close your eyes and then, using the tips of your fingers massage over the eyelids. The massage should be in both a clockwise and anticlockwise direction. Take care not to exert too much pressure on your eyes. You should use slight pressure and guard against pressing too hard on your eyes since this could be painful and cause some injury to your eyes.
