Bronchitis leads to a cough that's harrowing to hear. And this cough can keep you awake all through the night if you don't take preventive measures to deal with it. You may develop bronchitis due to a number of reasons. Smoking might be one of those reasons. If you smoke, you not only make yourself available for this disease, but you also get the secondary smokers (people who inhale the smoke you exhale) around you to sign up for it as well. If you have contracted bronchitis, your cough might server up yellowish-gray mucus. In addition, you may begin to suffer from a sore throat and you might feel your chest burning. There might be spells of breathlessness coupled with a few bouts of fever.

For bronchitis, you must take rest yourself well. Drink water as and when you remember the need to do so. Water helps to flush out unwanted foreign matter and toxins from the body. You must also eat garlic. Mix honey with tea and drink it up at least twice a day. You can also mix your herbal tea with slippery elm or comfrey to obtain considerable relief from the cough. This apart, you must include herbs such as fenugreek, chickweed, or liquorices in your diet.
