Cholera Treatment
Cholera is a serious disease that affects the lower portion of the smaller bowel. It is known to be one of the more severe diseases of the intestine. The disease is water borne and is rampant in during the monsoon or wet season.

The germ behind the disease cholera is known as vibrio cholerae. The poison produced by this germ is an endotoxin that is extremely harmful to the human body. The germs are normally present in flies or water and spread either due to food that is contaminated due to contact with a fly or water that is drunk and has the bacteria in it.

Therefore the main cause of the spread of cholera is due to the consumption of water or food that is left unguarded or prepared in unhygienic conditions as they are a breeding ground for germs, flies and bacteria especially during the monsoon.

Generally the symptoms of a person suffering cholera are the passing of stools that are grayish –brown in color, loose and watery. This is also accompanied by a feeling of nausea and vomiting. The patient will have severe cramps ion the stomach area and also will feel extremely thirsty and probably restless. The temperature of the body generally becomes high but the skin feels extremely cold and as the infection spreads further the body gets colder followed by the further wrinkling of the skin. The best way to avoid this is to drink water that is boiled or treated. Make sure to eat only properly cooked food and properly cleaned fruits.
