Chronic Symptoms, Causes and Natural Cures for Bronchitis
Bronchitis is a condition that arises due to the inflammation of the mucous membrane that lines the bronchi and bronchial tube within the chest. It is a breathing disorder that affects the expiratory function. In many cases, some infection also seeps into the nose and the throat.

Bronchitis is endemic to cold and damp climates. Symptoms include acute inflammation of the larynx, trachea, and bronchial tubes. The tissues are swollen because of irritation and large quantities of mucus are secreted and poured into the windpipe to protect the inflamed mucous membranes.

The primary cause of bronchitis is improper food habits. You might be quite habituated to refined foods such as white sugar, refined cereals and white-flour products. These food items cause morbid matter to accumulate in the system and also allow toxic waste to collect in the bronchial tube. Too much of smoking also aggravates the bronchial tubes and decreases their immunity so they become susceptible to germs inhaled in during respiration. To tackle bronchitis, you should fast on orange juice and water till the acute symptoms subside. You must also take up an all fruit diet for at least two to three days. You must also avoid tea, coffee, animal protein, sugar, seasonings, pickles, and refined and processed foodstuff. In addition, you must mix a teaspoonful of turmeric powder with a glass of milk and drink this mixture twice or thrice a day. It is best to drink this mixture on an empty stomach.
