Natural Treatment for Menopause
Menopause is a normal, natural phase in a woman's life, and is not really a disease with "symptoms" and "treatment". Around the age of 45, a woman's body undergoes many changes, mainly due to the decrease in production of the hormone estrogen. Many of these changes can be rather traumatic – decreased libido, depression, hair loss, hot flashes, and night sweats. In cases where the changes are particularly severe, hormone replacement therapy may be necessary or perhaps even antidepressants. If you feel that your experience of menopause is too traumatic, you should discuss it with your doctor and explore the possibility of using these solutions. In most cases however, it is possible to take measures to minimize the unpleasantness of the specific problems that you are experiencing. You have not provided any description or mention of your symptoms so it is difficult to suggest any specific approaches that you can take. In general however, some dietary changes are helpful – increase your intake of vitamin B and C, consume more fruits and fruit juices, eat yogurt, and avoid too much spicy food, coffee, and alcohol. Regular exercise will also keep you fit and help your body function optimally, decreasing depression and minimizing the severity of the other symptoms. Dry skin is quite easily addressed by using a rich, thick moisturizer, preferably immediately after bathing.
