There are a number of home remedies that you can try in order to cure your haemorrhoids. The first step towards riding yourself of haemorrhoids is to indulge in several short walks during the course of the day, as an excessive amount of just sitting or standing affects the haemorrhoids.


Try and sleep with your legs raised up. This helps reduce the blood pressure levels on the haemorrhoids veins.

An effective remedy that has been in practice for a long time among patients who have haemorrhoids is the use of a sitz bath.


The bath educe the symptoms of itching, inflammation and swelling .Some people also find relief from taking a plain warm water bath or an Epsom salt in order to relive their symptoms. The fluids that are discharged from the intestinal tract often cause irritation to the tender haemorrhoids, it is advisable to clean them gently with cool water and a hypoallergenic soap at least once a day. Try using a softer type of toilet paper as the harder varieties have been known to irritate or cause haemorrhoid pain. Finally avoid sitting on the toilet for more than five minutes in one go as it tends to irritate the haemorrhoids.
