Treatment for dark circles around eyes

Naturopathic physicians try to find the cause(s) for symptoms as well as help palliate symptoms.    

There may be a variety of causes for dark circles under the eyes, one of the potential causes are referred to as, "allergic shiners" and can be related to food sensitivities and allergies.  These are very common with children, and may be related to the sequence of foods introduced during infancy and the sequence of immune system development.


  Food allergies may be tested using blood tests.  However, food sensitivities which may not produce a measurable immunoglobulin response may be tested using other methods.  You may check with the practitioners in your area to see what additional testing methods are available.

Here are some home remedies for dark circles:

Drink daily a glass of tomatoe and carrot juice, this will help reduce the dark circles and also improve your eyesight.

Also you can make a paste out of almond oil and honey, take equal parts of the two, massage it over the dark cicles before you go to bed, when you wake up rinse it off
