Ingrown toenail natural cures An ingrown toenail is a painful affair and can make your life really difficult. You get an ingrown toenail when the nail of a toe, usually the big toe, is pushed into the flesh around the nail and begins to grow there. There are a variety of reasons to explain ingrown toenails.
Bad footwear is a very important reason to explain the development of ingrown toenails. When your shoes are tight and pressing on you, leaving your feet little room to breathe or even move about, that is when it is more than likely that a toenail gets pressed and begins growing in the flesh.
You should ensure that your footwear fits you well and is comfortable.
You should also allow your feet to breath and take off your footwear at least twice during a day.
You can also bathe your feet in warm water at the end of a long day. When the flesh of your feet has become soft, you can pat your feet dry. Then you can use a tiny piece of rolled up paper to lever up the nail and insert the roll under it. This will lift the nail out of the flesh it is growing into and give you relief.
