Natural Treatment for Leukoderma

Leukoderma is a chronic skin disorder that, till today, is not fully understood. The treatment options are limited and not always effective, and in some cases the disease continues to progress till all pigmentation is lost, while in other cases pigmentation is lost only at the extremities, and in rare cases, sufferers find that the white patches disappear on their own.

Typically however, skin pigment lost due to leukoderma does not reappear and then again disappear. If you have not already consulted your doctor, you should do so, as the white spots may be due to some other reason, such as a fungal infection or a vitamin deficiency. If your doctor confirms or has already confirmed that you have leukoderma, then you most probably do not have to worry much — if within three years the white patches have not spread much, they are unlikely to do so in the future. If the patches are very prominent, you should ask your doctor about treatment options. There are several options available, and although they are not 100% effective and do not work for everyone, there is a good chance that one of the treatments will work for you, at least to some extent.
