Home remedies for piles

What should I eat in the breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner? Can I eat rice and plain dal or chapatti and plain dal? I have got bleeding as well as swelling piles. Few particles have come out from the area. Please suggest what to do.

Natural Treatment for Piles

The piles you are describing are mostly caused due to the fact that you are not consuming enough fiber in your diet. This is causing hard stools, which will rupture your anus while passing a bowel movement. This is most probably the cause of bleeding and resultant swelling in the area.

In order to take care of your situation, you would have to change your diet completely. The diet you have described in your question is completely and totally inappropriate for a patient with bleeding and swelling piles.

The first thing you must do is reduce the amount of rice and chapattis you eat by half.

These are pure carbohydrates, which will only serve the purpose of making your stools harder than they already are. You should also make it a point to eat a large bowl of raw vegetables before you start your meal, as this will go a long way towards producing fiber and loosening up your stools. Do not use any dressing or spice with this. In fact, you should try to cut spice from your diet as much as you can, since this is a major irritant in the case of piles. You should also make it a point to eat at least two cooked vegetables, excluding potatoes, with every meal. You may replace one vegetable with lentil soup. All of this will show a positive change in your condition in less than three days if followed appropriately.
