Filariasis treatment
Sir, my brother suddenly is affected by filariasis, his right leg has become huge and now he has got some infection in it what home remedy has to be used on the leg as I stay in India (Mumbai)

Causes and Treatment for Filariasis
In order to take care of your brother's condition, you must first make certain that he is living in clean surroundings. If he has developed an infection, the possibility is high that the place he is living in is not hygienic. For patients affected with filariasis, it is of utmost importance to ensure that they take care not to contract any additional infection for fear of losing the limb altogether.
To begin with, the patient should start washing the infected part with plain soap and water at least three to four times a day. A medical examination will reveal the extent of the infection and also whether or not you need antibiotics to cure it. It is essential to go to a doctor and get a consultation; otherwise his condition will only worsen with time.
You will also need to ensure that the patient is not bitten by mosquitoes at any point. Use a mosquito net for him, or use a mosquito repellent in cream or incense form to keep the creatures away, as they are the spreaders of the disease in the first place. Your brother does not need to be troubled with a recurrent infection. It is also essential that he exercise the swollen limb regularly and try to keep it as mobile as possible. Lack of use will have blood pooling there and will make motion tougher as time goes on.
