Night sweats remedies

Night sweats, or instances of intense sweating at night, are usually accompanied with hot flashes, both of which combine to form strong symptoms of pre menopausal disturbances and disorders. The normal life cycle of night sweats is approximately between 10 to 20 months. In very rare cases do they last longer.

In all honesty, your best bet would be to put up with the uncomfortable happenstances and bide your time till they get over. But they can be very irksome, and there is no medication that can actually be of any help. A few simple changes in your daily lifestyle can make an element of difference however.

Skipping any spice from your food will help to stop the sweating considerably. Spices tend to heat up the body from within, so they should be eliminated to control the situation. Try to stick to wearing a cotton undershirt, so that you don’t feel minor perspiration. This will help to fight the discomfort. You must also completely abstain from consuming alcohol, which is actually a trigger for night sweating. Caffeine and caffeine-related products will also add to your discomfort, so you are better off with avoidance. Generally, try to avoid foods and drinks that will raise your blood sugar, as this will trigger these episodes more often.
