Mayonnaise is a very useful remedial measure to get rid of lice. You should rub it deep into the patches where you can actually see lice and eggs nesting and leave it on for 20 minutes to an hour. Wash with regular shampoo. This will remove lice within a couple of days. Another effective method is to apply shaving cream to the scalp and leaving it on for 10 minutes. You must follow this procedure daily for at least a week for it to remove the problem from the roots.
