Rheumatism causes

Rheumatism is a debilitating disease which can be caused by a variety of physiological factors. Thus far, there is no scientific evidence to prove that stress alone can be the cause of rheumatism. However, it is amply proved scientifically that rheumatism can be aggravated by a stressful life.

The causes of rheumatism may include the early onset of rheumatic fever. It could also be accumulation of certain kinds of toxins in the body due to prolonged usage of certain types of medication and food products that contain the toxin, and your body has been exposed to them over a long period of time. In several cases, rheumatism is also a hereditary condition.

It is also useful to know that this particular disease may also skip a generation or even various generations before it is handed down.

If a person who already has rheumatism leads a high stress life, the disease will grow manifold, and twice a quickly as it would otherwise. One of the most effective ways to control the problem and possibly nip it in the bud is to include a daily routine of Yoga. This kind of exercise is not only good for the body; it will also help you to keep a calm and cool mind at all times.
