Diet and cures for allergy An allergy in simple definition is the over response of the immune system to some substances that are foreign to the human body. These allergens vary from food and dust to medication or pollen. These allergies occur among all people throughout their life though the frequency of the attacks varies from person to person, as well as what causes the allergy.
The best way to formulate a diet for your son is to use a trial and error method. Identify if a particular food is causing the allergy and if so stop the consumption. Keep adding or deleting food items from your son's diet until you find the right diet.
But make sure he eats plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. It is next to impossible to mention what kind of diet should be followed as; you have not mentioned what kind of allergy your son is suffering from. There are some natural substances that act as a remedy for certain allergies and are effective in reducing the symptoms of an allergy if not curing it completely.
Potatoes are one such remedy; take four tablespoons of potato flour that is melted and apply it to the affected areas. Do this twice a day, till the symptoms are gone. Another remedy is the use of lime squeezed into a glass of warm water and drunk. Add one table spoon of honey before drinking it on an empty stomach every morning for a couple of months. The therapy helps in strengthening the immune system of your child's body.

Allergy home cures and diet There is no standard, special diet that can be used to treat allergies. You need to determine exactly what substance or substances your son is allergic to, and then modify his diet accordingly. However, if he is not suffering from a food allergy, then no dietary modifications will help. You have not mentioned exactly what your son is allergic to, so I assume that you have not yet been able to find out.
Today it is possible to perform certain blood tests to detect allergies to specific substances with a reasonable amount of certainty. You should perform get these tests done and visit an allergy specialist as well, as the blood test is not always able to detect an allergy. An allergy specialist will have more experience and knowledge of the problem, and will also be able to perform other tests, such as skin testing. This increases the likelihood of detecting exactly what substances are causing the allergic reaction in your son. Once you have detected the allergens, you can ensure that your son stays away from them as far as possible. Meanwhile, whenever there is a breakout of a rash as you have described, you will probably need to repeat the same treatment.
