Natural treatment for a sty In order to take care of sties in the eye, the first thing you must do is to rest your eye completely. Sties can actually be extremely painful and cause much discomfort. Do remember that the more you use your eye when you have a sty, the worse the pain and discomfort will be.
So, rest is the best and fastest way to heal a sty. You can also try to apply fresh garlic juice around the area where you can actually see the bump caused by an internal sty. Garlic juice has the property to draw out the sty and this will help your eye to heal faster.
For sties that are still within and have not yet come out of the eye, finding simple remedies becomes An old wives' tale states that rubbing a butcher knife around the sty will help it to heal faster. However, remember to be very careful with the blade, or instead of losing the sty, you might lose the eye! You can also apply clove oil to the area around the sty. However, try to apply as fine a film of this as you can, since oil has a tendency to spread on the skin, and this may take it to your eye, which will increase your discomfort.

Sty home cures If a hair in your eyelash has an infected follicle, then this is likely to develop into a sty. A sty can cause you trouble when shutting your eyes. It can also be painful. What is more a sty, under normal conditions, lasts for as long as two weeks. You should ensure that you avoid touching the sty too often. If you have to touch it, ensure that your hands are well cleaned. You should not try to scratch the sty or even try to itch it to get relief. Instead, you can use a towel dipped in some warm water to reduce the little boil. You can carry out this treatment as often as you like, during the day.
Another easy remedy requires a piece of jewelry, preferably a finger ring. This ring needs to be made of gold. You can rub the ring on your sty a couple of times during the day. Castor oil is believed to be very effective in treating a sty. You will require a clean cotton swab to apply the castor oil to the stie. Castor oil can be applied three times a day. You can also grate a potato and apply this grated potato on your affected eye.
