Side Effects of Medicines It is not necessary that you will experience side effects from all medications, but they have some side effects in some people. Side effects are generally more likely to surface when you have switched on to a new medication for the first time, if another medication has been added to your existing course, or if your dosage has been increased recently. Most common medications have side effects that are mild and there is no need to stop the medication at all. For example, a course of medication that involves antibiotics can often cause stomach upsets like mild diarrhoea or constipation. There are times however when the medication can cause more of a problem, or aggravate another existing problem, in which case the treatment needs to be changed.
There are some medications that have known side effects like a number of cancer treatments that are known to cause hair loss & diarrhoea. This is because these medicines not only affect the cancerous cells, but also other healthy cells like hair follicles. When such treatments are prescribed the doctor administering the treatment supervises these effects closely. If a medication is found to have side effects it can be replaced with another, and there are also new medications introduced as an alternative to medications that have been found to be troublesome.

Medication side effects Side effects of using medication and remedies would depend completely upon what medicines and remedies you are employing and for what purpose. Since this question is so generic, the proper answer to it would be that you should avoid using any kind of medication unless you have been advised to do so by your family physician. Any form of medication taken under a doctor's guidance will hardly go wrong for you. And in this case, it is always advisable to ask your doctor about any possible side effects that the medication prescribed could have on you.
In case of using remedies, if you are using natural remedies that are based on food products and the like, then chances are quite slim that you could have any adverse side effects or ill results of using them. If you are using any kind of herbal or natural remedy, it is important that you research what you are taking adequately before you start with the dosage. This will put your own mind at ease. It is always important to have full knowledge before you start on anything new. It is also important for you to be completely convinced about what you are taking, otherwise you would be better off avoiding it altogether.
