Cures for Body Pain

Any aches or pains in any part of the body could signify a wide variety of ailments. Diagnosing any ailment requires careful attention to detail. Diagnosis would depend on the nature of the pain, the exact location of the pain, and the duration for which the pain has been present, whether it comes and goes or is constant.

At times the pain or ache could be caused by trauma to the region in the recent past or even years before.

A pain on the right side is too broad a symptom for a diagnosis and accordingly for any form of treatment. The pain could be in the right side of the head, or the abdominal region, the ribs, the back, chest or the neck.

The pain could also be a mild ache or a dull pain, or a sharp pain that comes and goes or is constant. It could be a sign of something as serious as a heart attack or something as mundane as ‘Tietze's Syndrome', a condition that involves inflammation of the rib cage and generally resolves without any intervention. A pain in the upper right side of the abdomen could be a sign of chronic or acute gallbladder disease. Diseases afflicting the liver, right kidney, appendix or right ovary would also show symptoms like pain in the right abdominal areas. Visiting a doctor is most important for a quick diagnosis as a serious disorder would require prompt treatment.

Body ache remedies

If you having a generic pain on the right side of your body, you must try to rest as much as you can. If possible try to determine what is causing this pain. It could be that you have had an injury or you have had a fall in the recent past and thought it was minor and put it out of your mind. Sometimes, such injuries have a tendency to have far reaching effects without you even realizing it. In order to get relief from the pain, you can have a soak in a warm bath to which a handful of common salt has been added. Salt has the exceptional property to absorb pain from your body and provide relief. It is possible that you will feel certain heaviness in your body after this soak. Wash off the salt with warm water and try to sleep for a while immediately after the bath. This will help you considerably.

If you can, try to get a massage with warm mustard oil. This will be therapeutic in helping you to cope with the pain. Try to take a glass of hot milk with a teaspoon of turmeric powder thrown in before bedtime. This will also help you to heal any internal injuries quite quickly and effectively.
