Conjunctivitis cures

Very often we find that our eyes have become red instead of their normal white colour. This is usually an indication that your eye is infected. There could be a variety of reasons for the development of the infection.

However, the infection can cause you real pain in your eyes. It can also keep you confined to the house since going out will only aggravate the pain and the infection.

The first thing you should do if you notice that your eyes are pink is to wash your eyes with warm water.

You can either use a soft handkerchief to do this or dip a clean cotton swab in warm water and dab at the eyes. You will also find that using cold water compression your eyes gives you some relief. You should wrap an ice cube in a think handkerchief and hold this to your eyes.

You can also steep two tea bags and then lay them on your eyes. This will help reduce any puffiness that your eyes have developed.

You can also boil a fistful of dried coriander in a cup full of water. Strain this when it has boiled. This can be used to cleanse your eyes.
