A person’s aesthetic appeal is becoming one of the most important factors in his or her life and plays a huge role in the social acceptance that every individual is afforded in today’s increasingly appearance based society. Rosacea is a rather common, if still misunderstood, condition that is primarily characterized by the development of redness and pimples on the face, cheeks, chin and forehead. Very similar to the development of acne, the condition is often known as adult acne, although it is often accompanied by bouts of burning and soreness in the eyes.
Up until the point where the condition affects the eyes, it is regarded as nothing more than a harmless cosmetic condition. However, the amount of pain and discomfort it can cause the eyes will make it a significantly painful condition to deal with. Before getting into the details of home remedies for rosacea bumps, symptoms as well as treatment for rosacea, it is important to be able to understand the various causes of the condition in the first place.
Because of the fact that the condition is extremely common amongst parts of Britain and Ireland, the condition is often referred to as the ‘curse of the Celts.’ Studies show that although the condition is known to affect both sexes, the incidences of women affected are about 3 times more than that of the men. Moreover, extensive surveys also show that the condition happens to peak in and around the age gap of between 30 and 60. As of the year 2010, an estimated 16 million people within the United States of America suffered from the condition with about 45 million reported instances of the condition from across the world. The most noticeable symptoms of the condition include tiny white patches as well as irritated cysts and small red bumps across the face. Most experts will regard rosacea as being a long term and non treatable skin condition that will tend to become prominent and then dormant in spasms. This redness is usually the result of some small blood vessels in the face dilating and therefore becoming that much more visible through the skin. Some of the more common causes of the rosacea skin condition include emotional factors such as anxiety, stress, fear and even embarrassment. Environmental factor such as a sudden gush of wind as well as the exposure of the skin to the sun may trigger blushing and aggravate the condition. Some other lifestyle factors that are also likely to play a role in the development of the condition include exercise, alcohol consumption, being emotionally upset as well as consumption of spicy foods.
Because of the fact that the condition is a rather common one, there are a number of ways on how to treat rosacea that have been developed all over the world to. These rosacea natural treatment methods have known to be very effective in treating the condition. Despite the fact that there are a number of natural remedies for rosacea, there are also a number of diet plans that have been prepared to help contain the condition. Any rosacea diet plan revolves around the fact that the redness is partially caused as a result of high calorie carbohydrates as well as sugar spiking. The treatment plan is focused around reducing your intake of high caloric foods, thereby reducing the amount of heat/calories burned. Water consumption is another very important part of the diet plan and one should make it a point to consume about 10 -12 glasses of water on a regular basis. However even though this is one of the very effective rosacea cures one should make sure to avoid drinking water in between meals.
