Natural Remedies for Obesity
There is no miracle remedy for weight loss. Every individual wishes to lose excess weight at some part of their life. Quick solutions are not available for fixing this issue of overweight.
The primary requirement for weight loss is to have a strong will power to adhere to certain dietary guidelines. Strict diet in combination with regular exercise is of great help. Fad diets are abstained from.
Complete abstinence from food is difficult to follow, as it might turn the plate, the other side. Vegetables and fruits are recommended in plenty provided, there are no complications. Adequate amount of water, barley water and tender coconut water is effective. Go in for clear vegetable soups, instead of those loaded with animal foods. Cooking method is very important to consider. Boiling, baking and pressure cooking are preferred than deep frying.
Pressure cooking is one of the most recommended methods of cooking, as it preserves all the nutrients, whereas leaching of nutrients is possible in other methods. Avoid refined and processed foods, as the sodium content is higher. This in turn contributes to water retention. Visit a nutritionist for personal help, as the activity pattern, age, gender and other factors are considered.
