after malaria treatment I am having severe hair loss. Mean while I am having dandruff problem also. plz suggest me how to prevent this hair loss

Alternate Treatment for Lair Loss and Dandruff

Hair loss in your case might be due to certain medications. Refer to your physician regarding the side effects of the medicines prescribed to you. Around 20 to 100 strands of hair is lost everyday.

Hormones affect the development of hair and its growth. Proper hair care also equally proves beneficial in preventing hair loss. A balance diet with vegetables, fruits, pulses and legumes, prove effective in maintenance of good and long hair.

The type of water used for hair wash is also important to consider. Washing with hard water damages the hair and results in hair loss. Combing them, when wet with a comb is another common mistake done.

Massaging with coconut oil is an effective way to prevent hair loss, as it improves circulation. Honey and egg yolk are mixed and left on the hair for half an hour. Equal amounts of castor oil and almond oil are warmed and applied on the scalp. Indian gooseberry powder with an egg is mixed and left for half an hour on the hair. Wash well.
