Naturally Detoxify Body
Detoxification of the body refers to the cleansing and nourishing of the body. Starting from skin problems to other physiological disorders, toxic metabolites play a vital role. Elimination of the toxins and replenishing with nutrients helps in protecting the body from various ailments.
Leading a stress free life with adherence to a strict dietary pattern and regular exercise proves beneficial.
Fasting is one of the easiest and best ways of cleansing the system. The organs receive rest, by fasting. The liver is stimulated to drive toxic metabolites from the body. Enhancing the circulation and provision of nutrients by intake of fresh vegetables and fruits is recommended. Drinking adequate amount of water flushes out toxins from the body. Whole grains, pulses and legumes are also helpful.
Deep breathing in the form of yoga and meditation is an effective remedy. Herbs such as milk thistle, dandelion root and burdock help the liver in eliminating toxins, thereby protecting the liver. Supplements of ascorbic acid also help. Sweating in a steam bath or sauna is soothing and rejuvenating. The above said recommendations might not be acceptable to every individual.
