Treatment for Boil

A boil is an eruption that is not only painful but also causes other kinds of problems. A boil on your face will make you self-conscious while a boil on your leg can be painful and make it difficult to sit through a day.  However if your boil lasts for some days and seems to be growing bigger or causes pain, you should visit your doctor.

You have not mentioned where you have your boil. The best thing to do is to use some hot water to wash it. Apply a towel dipped in hot water to the boil. Do this at least thrice a day. It will go down.
You can also use garlic and onions to bring down the boil. Eating two or three cloves of garlic is one way to do this. You can also extract the juice of garlic and onion, mix the two together in equal proportion and apply this on the boil.   A spoonful of milk cream can be mixed with a pinch of turmeric and half a tea spoon of vinegar and applied two or three times on the boil.

Boils usually erupt when you are suffering from some problem related to your stomach. If you notice an eruption of boils on your body, you should seriously consider altering your diet and bringing some changes in your lifestyle. You should take up regular exercise and cut down on late nights and oily food. If you are suffering from constipation, then a high fiber diet will help you.
