Natural Cure for Puffy Eyes

Puffy eyes are an eye condition where eyes become inflamed due to various factors. The skin around eyes is very sensitive and contains blood vessels. The main causes of puffy eyes are lack of sleep, crying, excessive salt intake, water intake or any other eye condition.

• Take few chamomile tea bags and wet them with lukewarm water. Place these wet tea bags on your closed eyelids.
  
• Soak a cotton pad in a mixture of iced water and ice-cold milk. Place the dampen pads over your closed eyelids. This will help in reducing the inflammation under your eyes. This will also aid in brightening the whites of your eyes.
  
• Cucumber is another great cure for puffiness. Crush cucumber or cut slices to place them over the closed eyelids. This helps in alleviating sore and puffy eyes.
  
• Avoid eating salty foods because salt causes water retention, which eventually results in eye puffiness.
  
• You can even use extracts from aloe vera and Vitamin E to alleviate pain and reduce swelling.
