Bladder infection remedies
I am suffering from bladder infection. Please suggest some remedies I can try at home.

Bladder infection remedies - It is advisable to withhold the intake of solid foods. Consume plenty of raw vegetable juices particularly carrot juice. Dilute the vegetable juices with water on a 50:50 proportion. Drinking carrot juice every two hours is an effective remedy. It is essential to take rest and relax.
- If you are experiencing pain, immerse the pelvis in warm water. The application of hot and cold compresses is effective in the treatment of bladder infection. The warm compress relieves from pain. Where as cold compress clear the pelvic congestion and enhance the activity of the skin. Rub the wet abdominal skin with a dry towel to maintain the warmth. To prevent the skin from soreness and chilling, gently rub some vegetable oil on the surface.
- Eat only ripe fruits low in acids, at least three times in regular intervals daily.
Consume fruits like peach, apple, grapes, melon and pear.
- Cucumber juice is a valuable home remedy in the treatment of bladder infection. It serves as an effective diuretic. Pour a tablespoon of fresh lime juice in a glass of cucumber juice and add two teaspoons of honey. Drink this juice at least to three times in a day.
- Sandal wood oil is also considered remedial for this ailment. Consume five-six drops in the beginning, increase it to10 to 20 drops gradually.
