Natural Cure for Dandruff
Dandruff is a common hair problem affecting most of the people in the course of their lives. This hair problem is clinically defined as peeling of dead skin cells from the scalp. These skin cells rapidly cycle every three to four days and provide dreaded white flakes that we know as dandruff.
There are many effective home cures for dandruff. Following are some of the most common remedies used:
Garlic and Oregano are excellent remedies for getting rid of dandruff. Both oregano and garlic have strong anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties that helps in killing micro-organisms causing dandruff.
A mixture of olive oil and almond oil is a good combination for getting rid of the scalp problem.
You can even mix ginger with olive oil and apply to the scalp. Leave it for 15 to 20 minutes and wash off with plain water.
A combination of crushed rosemary and olive oil can also show wondrous results in the treatment of dandruff.
You can even use rosemary oil for gentle massage and say good bye to dandruff.
Fenugreek seeds are the best cure for dandruff. Soak these seeds in a bowl of water and grind it to a paste. Apply the paste on the scalp and wash off with mild shampoo followed by a good conditioner.
You can even use lemon peel to rub on the scalp. This also inhibits the production of white flakes.
