Athletes foot natural remedies
Try the following simple home remedies for athlete's foot -
- To cure athlete's foot it is very important to keep your feet dry and avoid the shoes which you are currently wearing.
- To avoid the infection to spread help keep your feet dry by sprinkling baking soda in between the toes (wash off after 15 minutes), or you can simply wipe the feet thoroughly before wearing any shoes. Wear different pair of shoes all the time, this will give time to the worn shoes to dry completely.
- Dab a cloth with a household disinfectant and rub it on the inner side of the shoes to kill any living fungus or spores.
- Soak your feet in warm saline solution for 15-20 minutes, this will not only help to exclude excess perspiration but also make the feet skin soft allowing the medications to penetrate in the skin better.
- Rub 5-10 drops of tea tree oil 2-3 times a day on your feet, the anti-fungal properties in it would help to get rid of the fungus.
- As your conditions improves gradually scrub the dead skin carefully to have a clean feet and avoid the infection too linger.
