Hair color stains removal

Stains of hair color on your skin while applying the hair color is a quite common. Try the following simple methods to get rid of the unwanted color from the skin -

  1. A very easy and convenient method to remove the color from the skin is applying toothpaste (not gel) on the stained area of the skin. Wash it off after it dries completely with warm water. Toothpaste has abrasive ingredients which help to remove stains from the skin.
  2. Dilute a nail polish remover and dab this in a cotton ball. Use this to wipe the hair color from the skin of your scalp.
  3. Mix baking soda with dishwashing soap in equal proportions. Take this diluted solution in a cotton cloth and wipe the scalp region to fade the color stains.

As it is a semi-permanent hair color, don't get obsessed with it, it will fade slowly on it own too. Do not try multiple things at a time as this might leave your skin in an irritated condition. In future to avoid any stains wear hand gloves and coat the skin which is more susceptible getting stained, like forehead, ears and neck with Vaseline.
