Advice for dark upper lips 

You have not mentioned if your complexion is also dark or if you have only dark lips. Sometimes lips can darken after an illness. Eating certain kinds of medication also has this effect on the body. You should check with your doctor to see if any of these explanations are applicable in your case. Sometimes smoking causes a discoloration of the lips and teeth. You have not mentioned if you smoke, so if you do, try to stop smoking.  

You can use lemon juice on your lips. Apply a little lemon juice every morning and night on your lips. Wash off when it gets dry.  Mash one ripe banana. Mix a tablespoon of sour cream to this. Add a tablespoon of honey to this mix. Mash the three together and apply on your dark lip.

Take a tablespoon of milk cream. Add a pinch of turmeric to this. Apply this to your upper lip. Let it dry and then wash off. You can also apply this when you go to bed and leave it on.

You can try drinking lots of water during the day. Make a change in your diet by eating regular, balanced meals. Ensure that your meals contain more vegetables and fruits and avoid drinking too much tea and coffee.
