Your friend seems to be emotionally disturbed which is why he is experiencing these symptoms. He may not actually have heart disease but to ascertain this, please seek professional help. A psychotherapist will be able to assist him with his fears and a cardiologist to confirm and treat whether he does really have heart disease.

Since your friend seems to be facing a great deal of stress in life, ask him to practice stress management techniques and learn to relax. Stress can worsen his heart problems (if he does have any) or possibly cause heart or other health problems if there is consistent stress and if he doesn’t develop ways to deal with it.

These tips will surely help him:

Regarding food or supplement, it is best to have a balanced diet and make sure he eats wholesome meals. Avoid irregular eating, binge eating, oily or fried foods, snacking on junk foods or using food as a resort to relieve distress.
