Natural cures for diabetes Diabetes is a condition in which your blood sugar levels are high, over and above the normal range. This happens when your body does not either make insulin or utilize insulin effectively. Due to the lack of insulin, the glucose that you get from food remains in your body, and this excess results in serious problems.
Your heart, kidney, eyesight, or even nerves can get badly affected. Some of the common symptoms of diabetes are: blurred vision, extreme fatigue, thirst, or weight loss. These symptoms can vary from person to person.
If your condition is mild, the following are some of the home remedies that can help in controlling diabetes:
- Take a few mango leaves. Boil them with a glass of water and keep the mixture overnight. Filter and drink it the next day.
- Soak around 100 fenugreek seeds in 300 ml water. Keep it overnight, mash and sieve it the next morning, and drink the water.
- Drink 200 ml of bitter gourd juice. Take this once in two days.
- Add three to four spoons of cinnamon in a liter of water. Boil the mixture, and simmer for 15 minutes. Let it cool, then sieve it, and drink the water.
- Soak five almonds overnight and eat them every morning.
- Exercise regularly and get regular medical check-ups done to avoid any complications.
