what can I do about the headaches I am getting because I am premenopausal.

Treatment for menopausal symptoms
  • Consume 800 mg of evening primerose oil 3 times a day.
  • Include Soy sprouts, pumpkin seeds, alfalfa, Soy beans, crushed flaxseed, cabbage, beets, olive oil, garlic, green beans, sesame seeds, yams, wheat, cucumbers, apples, corns, anise seeds, olives, papaya, oats, peas and sunflower seeds in your regular diet. These foods contain estrogenic substances and will help increase the levels of estrogen in your body.


  • Take 2 gms of the herb Indian Spikenard daily to calm your nervous system and relieve headache.
  • Have 1 tsp of the powdered herb Liquorice regularly.
  • Boil 1 tsp of carrot seeds in 1 glass of cow's milk for 10 minutes and take it daily.


  • Take around 80 ml of beet juice 3 times a day.
  • You can take valerian to induce sleep and cure headache.
  • You can also drink chamomile tea an hour before your sleep.
  • Dandelion root and Oregon grape herbs might give some relief.
  • Consume 80 mgs of the extract of black cohosh divided into several doses everyday.
  • Drink at least 1 liter of purified or distilled water everyday.
  • Avoid coffee, smoking and alcohol completely as it will aggravate the condition.
  • Do not take stress and exercise regularly.
