Home remedies for shoulder pain
Apply a heating pad, warm cloth or an ice pack to the affected shoulder for 10 to 15 minutes 3 to 4 times daily. Both or at least either one will give you relief from pain. You can also apply hot and cold fermentation alternatively.
Massage your shoulder with any balm, pain reliever or mustard oil in which a few garlic cloves has been boiled. Do this at least twice a day.
Do not sleep on the side where your have the shoulder pain. Try sleeping on the other side or on your back till the pain reduces.
Do not carry objects or bend too often.
Perform some strengthening and stretching exercises after sitting in one position for long or when the pain becomes unbearable. Even after your pain has been cured, your can continue doing these exercises.
Try lifting some light weights to reduce pain but while doing this exercise remember to keep your thumbs up otherwise you might disturb or put undue pressure on you tendon.
Wear a scarf or a muffler during the winter season as breathing the cold air may increase your shoulder pain.
Do not turn suddenly or put pressure on your shoulders while getting up. Move slowly and avoid strenuous works for sometime.
