Information on nausea

If you have had nausea for months, it is always advisable to see a physician, who would recommend that you run tests, thereby eliminating any possible serious ailment. The best solution for a person in your state would be to induce vomiting once and for all. This will bring relief to your system.

However, if for some reason, you are unable to do so, you can try a few home remedies. Look for sugar-free peppermint candy in a local store. The strong flavor of mint is said to help settle down feelings of nausea very effectively.

Drinking a lot of chilled water can also settle your system down. Every time you feel your mouth filling up with saliva, you must spit it out and drink chilled water instead. Simple solutions such as having dry crackers or a slice of bread can go a long way towards settling a wayward stomach. These products, high on flour and yeast, will soak extra acid from the stomach and keep the system moving. Ginger ale is supposed to be one of the best home remedies for heart burn and constant nausea. However, you must wait for the soda to go flat before drinking it, as the carbonation will only add to your misery. Smelling fresh scents such as lime and oranges can make you feel better instantly and momentarily. As can chewing on a piece of dry ginger. You can also try stirring a couple of teaspoons wheat germ in chilled milk for prolonged nausea.
