Home remedies and causes of psoriasis
Psoriasis is a skin disorder characterized by red patches and flaky skin on the scalp and on the skin area on the opposite side of the joints. It is a non-contagious disorder and is covered by white silvery scales. It can be cause by certain genetic disorders or environmental factors.
Use the following home remedies for curing this disorder naturally.
Take shower, soak in a bath tub or apply wet compresses to the area regularly. This will keep the skin hydrated the skin and enhance the removal of the dead scales.
Use lukewarm water for this. This will also help in reducing itching and redness.
Add 1 cup of apple cider vinegar to 1 gallon of water and wet a washcloth with it and apply it to the affected areas. You can also add it the bath tub and soak in it everyday. Soaking in a tub in which a handful of Epsom salt or a cup of vegetable oil has been added will also provide relief to you.
Massage warm olive oil to the skin before retiring to bed at night. You can also use almond oil and vitamin e oil for this. Apply fish oil liberally to the skin or you can use creams which contain fish oil or its derivatives regularly.
