Natural treatment for vaginosis
- Make a decoction of the herb chebulic myroblan and wash your vaginal area with it twice a day for 3 days. You can also make a decoction of its fruits along with the margosa leaves and wash your vaginal parts twice a day. Do not use this herb if you are pregnant as it may cause abortion.
- Fill half a bath tub and add 2 tbsp of apple cider vinegar and sit in it for 15 to 20 minutes once everyday. This will cure the infection and relieve itching.
- Douche the genital area with a cotton ball dipped in yogurt or apple cider vinegar twice a day.
- Wash your vaginal area with warm water and wipe it with a soft cotton cloth. You can dry the area with a hair dryer and avoid wearing any under pant for sometime. Wear cotton undergarments and nightwear. Try and sleep without your panty at night after your infection has been cured. Change your undergarments everyday and wash them regularly in a disinfectant. If possible dry them in sun and keep them properly aired. Check your detergent powder for causing the infection.
- Do not scratch the vaginal area with your nails and immediately change your underpants if you feel any wetness due to white discharge.
