Advice on infertility

Women who have a history of irregular menstrual cycles for months should look for medical help as soon as possible especially if they are planning a pregnancy. Irregular menstruation cycles greatly reduce the chances of pregnancy is medical intervention is not sought. Alterations in the quantity or the coordination of hormones discharged by the glands producing hormones such the thyroid, adrenal or hypothalamus may drive the ovary to either detain or fail ovulation.

And in the absence of ovulation menstruation is not likely to take place. And most importantly pregnancy maybe thwarted in the event of lack of ovulation. When menses are continuously unpredictable, therapies are employed to modulate the menstrual cycle and accomplish conception.

Hormonal imbalances are the most likely causes for causing irregular menses in those who have not other known symptoms. Your medical advisor will tell you to take a hormonal test to determine whether the hormones are secreted in the right proportion or quantity needed to stimulate ovulation.

Medical analysts have studied that the amount of body fat or BMI in a woman develops and accumulates estrogen. Estrogen is a necessary hormone that prepares the body for motherhood. If estrogen in the body is beyond or below normal limits, it can greatly affect ovulation.
